Technique: How to hide all icons on the desktop in Windows 7

This one's pretty simple, but useful if you want a clean screenshot of the desktop (I dunno, like for a tutorial or something...), so here we go.


Right click on the desktop to open the menu. In the "View" sub-menu, un-tick "Show desktop icons."

That's it.
